Google review removal checker & evidence builder

Turn a review concern into a practical case worksheet. Choose what happened and where your report stands; get an evidence checklist and a next step you can use.

1. Describe the situation

Record observable facts separately from suspicions. Tick only evidence you actually have; a checkbox does not prove a violation.

What evidence belongs with each review concern?

This is our worksheet method, organized around Google's content policies. It helps you separate an observation from an allegation before choosing a reporting category.

Review concern → useful record → claim to avoid
ConcernUseful record to prepareAvoid assuming
Employment or competitor conflictA dated source connecting the author to the relationship, alongside the review.A similar name proves who owns the account.
Repeated or unrelated contentDirect URLs, matching excerpts and a short timeline.Several low ratings alone prove coordination.
Private personal informationThe exact exposed detail and its context, stored privately.Every mention of a public-facing professional's name is prohibited.
Threats or harassmentThe relevant words in their full context, with a dated screenshot.Every angry complaint is harassment.
Payment demandThe demand, sender, timestamps and related review URLs.An ordinary bad review belongs in the extortion channel.
Unrecognized customerWhich records and dates were checked, plus any independently verifiable mismatch.A missing customer record proves no experience occurred.

A stronger case note: fact, context, attachment

An appeal reviewer should be able to follow your observation without reconstructing your entire business history. Use one evidence reference per factual claim.

Illustrative example, not a real client case

“The review describes an appointment on [date] at [location]. Attachment A shows that this location did not open until [later date]. Please assess the mismatch under the relevant content policy.”

That note identifies a checkable inconsistency. “This person is obviously a competitor” does not. A date mismatch may still have an innocent explanation; keep the conclusion narrower than the evidence. The worksheet deliberately leaves missing facts as prompts rather than filling them with invented claims.

What changes after Google rejects a report?

Google's Reviews Management Tool provides report status and, where available, a one-time appeal. A pending report needs monitoring; a rejected report needs a clear explanation of the policy issue; an escalated appeal needs follow-up through the existing case. See Google's reporting and appeals instructions.

Our worksheet asks for the stage first so a first report and an appeal do not produce the same next step. For an appeal, add the earlier decision and the supporting fact it may have missed. Keep your original screenshots and a separate copy of each submitted version.

When someone demands money to remove reviews

Google has a separate review extortion reporting process for direct demands for money or favours in exchange for taking down reviews. Preserve the communications and related review links. Google advises against paying or engaging with the sender.

The builder routes this concern to that process. A suspected fake review without a direct demand follows the ordinary reporting workflow.

Download a blank review evidence template

Download the blank review evidence worksheet (.txt). Use one copy per review, or reference a shared timeline for related posts. It opens in any text editor and can be pasted into your internal case notes.

Keep customer records and exposed personal details in a private evidence folder. Use attachment references in working notes; share supporting material only through the appropriate private reporting channel.

Questions about this checker

Does it predict whether Google will remove a review?

No. It maps your selected concern to preparation steps. It does not inspect your Business Profile, identify an anonymous reviewer, verify your evidence, or calculate a removal probability.

Can I use it without hiring ReviewsBoost?

Yes. The checker, copy function and downloads are free. You can use the worksheet with Google's own tools. Our paid removal assistance is optional.

Does the case text leave my browser?

The tool does not send or store your entries. Copy and download happen only when you select those actions. Following a Google link opens Google's service; you decide what to submit there.

What if there is no clear policy issue?

Use a measured reply and investigate the underlying experience. Start with our response examples for disputed reviews and genuine customer feedback workflow.
